I have played competitive sports and trained my body to my full potential for as long as I can remember. When I was young, I would walk 5 miles to the YMCA to workout with my friends. As a personal fitness instructor, I ran marathons and competed alongside clients and friends in triathlons. Training my body to its limits caused me to become acquainted with pain, sore muscles, and stiff joints. Realizing the need to include rehab and recovery with my clients, I decided to become a massage therapist.
My clients range from office workers to athletes of all levels.
I enjoy working with clients to resolve chronic pain issues, sprains, athletic injury prevention, and recovery, among other issues. It is my goal to help clients reach a painless way of life by adjusting each massage to meet each individual’s needs.
What to expect
The first Session
What to wear - loose-fitting athletic shorts, t-shirts, and sports bras. This session usually provides significant relief for most aches and sprains. If needed a treatment plan will be given.
The Treatment
I highly recommend treating the source of problems to prevent recurrences and injuries. A typical treatment plan can range from 3 to 5 sessions, depending on your lifestyle.
